Privacy policy

Updated October 4, 2026

This page explains what happens to information when you use Countdown Numbers Game.

Using the game

You can play without creating an account or entering a name. Puzzle generation and answer checking happen in your browser. Calculations you type into the answer box are not sent to us by the game.

If you share a puzzle, its puzzle details are carried in the link. Your typed answer is not included.

Preferences on your device

The game saves some preferences, such as round settings, in your browser's local storage so they are available the next time you visit on that device. You can clear this storage using your browser settings.

Website requests

When your browser loads the site, our hosting and delivery services receive the technical information needed to serve and protect it. This can include your IP address, requested page, browser and device details, and the time of the request. These details are handled by the services that host and deliver the site.

Advertising and consent choices

Advertising on public browsing pages is provided through Ezoic and its advertising partners. Those services may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising. Ezoic provides the consent choices shown on the site where they apply. Use those controls to review or change your choices; simply visiting the site is not treated here as accepting optional advertising cookies.

Read Ezoic's privacy and consent documentation for information about its services and controls.

Email

If you email us, we receive the address and message you choose to send so we can respond. Please do not include pupil names or sensitive personal information. Contact contact@countdownnumbersgame.com with privacy questions.

Children and classroom use

The online game does not ask learners for their names, create pupil profiles or submit their working. Teachers can use it without entering personal information. The printed worksheet has a blank name line for paper use; any writing on a printed copy stays on that paper.
